Medico-Legal Fees April 2011 - March 2012

 Preparation of Medical Reports, Court attendances and Conferences
(15 minutes units)

Travelling time for Court Attendance and Conferences are charged at the above rate with travelling expenses added at the AA rate of 109p per mile by car.

Instructions through an Agent of Intermediary
Any instruction received from an intermediary is considered a joint instruction with the instructing solicitors; the instructing solicitors must write agreeing to be jointly and severally liable for payment of fees in the event that the intermediary is unable for any reason to make such payments. Alternatively, the intermediary may pay in advance.

Vascular Investigations (Independent Vascular Services Ltd)

We may need to arrange vascular investigations. These are an essential part of preparing an expert report. An invoice will be forwarded for these fees by Independent Vascular Services Limited (separate price list on request).

 Cancellation Fees (Consultation, counsel's meeting or court attendance)
     Proportion of normal fee.

Cancellation within one month	25%
Cancellation less than two weeks	50%
Cancellation less than three days	75%
Cancellation less than 24 hours	100%

A booking fee of £95.00 per day is charged to reserve time in Professor McCollum's diary. This is not refundable, but is deducted from any Cancellation fees.

 Terms:
Payment within two months of the date of invoice unless by prior agreement. Late payment after three months will incur interest at 1% per month from the date of invoice.

From 1st June 2011 VAT will be added to all invoices at the standard rate of 20%.

This agreement is subject to English Law and the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
